Self Advocacy Resource Unit

Dedicated to inclusion

From our hearts the SARU acknowledge the First People of Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We show our respect to Elders past and present.

We recognise the members of self advocacy groups who have worked tirelessly over many years for the right to live in the community, and for equality and human rights for all.

The SARU celebrates the important work of self advocates from diverse communities, like women, multicultural and rainbow people with disability.

The SARU thanks the Victorian Government who provide ongoing funding to us through the Victorian Disability Advocacy Program.
